Brief description of session:
RAL Space is the UK’s national space laboratory. Join Hugh to find out how we make space missions come to life, from the moment a new mission is first imagined, to building and testing spacecraft ready for launch, and finally seeing it in space or landing on another planet and sending data back to Earth. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look inside our facilities where we simulate the conditions of a rocket launch and the environment of space to make sure hardware can survive the journey to space and beyond.
