Victoria Lane Academy

Children from Victoria Lane Academy in Coundon demonstrate a hands on, active learning task designed to help them learn about the planets of the solar system through a meaningful and memorable learning experience. This activity is popular with the children and forms part of our residential Space Camp program.

St Matthew’s Catholic Primary School – Solar system in my pocket

St Matthew’s Year 6 Space Scientists demonstrate an engaging and simple practical activity to create a mini solar system. Using till roll and stickers, the children produce a fantastic resource to help pupils understand the relative distances between planets. A great activity for the KS2 Earth and Space topic as well as astronomy sessions or Space Camp.
